Dandelion Hearts is here for you. With no judgment and open hearts, we offer small acts of kindness to bring comfort, dignity, and care to those experiencing unsheltered homelessness and to those in Permanent Supportive Housing who have recently come out of homelessness – because everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and loved.

Our Mission

At Dandelion Hearts, our mission is to spread seeds of kindness throughout Corona's homeless and vulnerable communities by offering non-judgmental and compassionate support through small, heartfelt acts of service. We believe that even the simplest gesture can uplift a life, and through ongoing kindness and thoughtful care, we aim to nurture respect, hope, and human connection for those often overlooked — one heart at a time.

What We Do

Permanent Supportive Housing Community Food Program

We deliver fresh food and ready-to-eat items distributed directly to residents of Vista Dorada Permanent Supportive Housing.

Care Bag Distribution

We provide yearly “Care Bags” to Corona’s street-level homeless, packed with over 50 essential items including socks, hygiene items, and basic necessities—small things that make a real difference when living unsheltered on the streets.

Outdoor Essentials

We provide essential items for those living outdoors such as clothing, blankets, sleeping bags, tents, jackets, backpacks, rain gear, and more.

Community Collaborations

We partner with groups and organizations in the local community to bring thoughtful events to our street-level homeless, as well as to those in permanent supportive housing, including free haircuts, free manicures, holiday events and gift bags, personal hygiene support, food distribution, and special events.

Pet Support

Through community organizations and partnerships we also help to bring support to the pets of those we serve by providing dog and cat food, treats and toys, leashes and collars, pet bowls, pet waste bags, and more.
